Graeme Pateman Memorial Tankard for Debut Season

In 2015, LNZCC's Committee inaugurated an award to mark the best performance by a player making their debut for the club.  The trophy is named after Graeme Pateman, who arrived at LNZCC in the 1970s and contributed a great deal on and off the field in the decades until his untimely demise in 2014.  Perhaps his finest moment in LNZCC colours was a 5-wicket bag against the touring New Zealand team in the 1980s.  Graeme was Chairman of LNZCC in 1992 and won the club's on and off field awards in the 1970s. Following his retirement to France, Graeme maintained great interest in the club in his role as Vice-President.
